Currently I am dating this sexy, hot butch…but there is just one thing which I don’t feel comfortable with – she is always paying when we go out. I really appreciate it, but I would also like to pay sometimes. Or we could split the bill. But she is always insisting and I don’t want to start a fight over the bill in the public.

She says that she wants to take care of a femme, to treat me like a lady and I really appreciate it. But once in a while I would like to do something nice for her too. I love chivalry, but I think that some butches don’t have to regard certain things that strict.

When did you realize that you’re gay?

Today I came across the interesting fact that straight people never think and talk about the first time when they realized that they are straight. I mean, it’s interesting that they just assume that they are straight and know for sure that they are straight (unless they realize later on in their life that they are not), even before sleeping with someone of the opposite sex (but of course you don’t have to sleep with someone in order to get to know whether you’re gay or straight).

I noticed that it’s different with gay people. There is often a certain time in their life when they realize that they are gay, for example they meet someone and fall in love with that person. Or they realized it as teenagers or much later in their life.

I think in my case I noticed that I am attracted to women was when I was a little child; I think I was five years old when I caught myself admiring other women and that I liked to look at their bodies. For example, I remember that I liked to look at pictures of women dressed in sexy lingerie and that it make me feel a bit “uncomfortable” (if you know what I mean ). And when looking at men, I couldn’t feel this particular attraction toward them. Of course I didn’t know what a lesbian is at the age of 5, but I felt something special when looking at women.

However, everybody has a different point of view.
